Obituary of Craig T Waldo

Craig T. Waldo of Apalachin, NY, went to be with the Lord on March 19th, 2024. Craig was born in Bath, New York on October 17th, 1933. He graduated from Prattsburgh High School, and Broome Tech as an Electrical Engineer. Soon after he married his high school sweetheart, Marjorie Haney, where they resided in Schenectady, NY, Towanda, PA, then finally settled in Apalachin, NY, where they raised their family of nine. Craig was a devoted husband and father. Craig worked for G.E. in Schenectady, NY, Sylvania in Towanda, PA, and IBM in Endicott, NY. He had several patents at Sylvania & IBM. Craig retired from IBM in 1990. Craig was a devoted Pastor and 50 year Gideon Member, serving in Prison Ministry and Bible Distribution. After Craig retired, Marge and him enjoyed traveling throughout the states where they had many friends to visit along the way. Craig also was a glass blower and a member of the Tractors of Yesteryear. He restored and collected numerous tractors. Craig was predeceased by his father Theron Waldo, wife Marge, son Brian, and granddaughter Jennifer. He is survived by his twin brother Gary Waldo, sister Beverly Hercyk, children; Dave, Barbara, Don, Mark, Doug and Nannette, 20 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with Gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves, we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, March 23rd at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Baptist Church, 1013 Front St. Vestal, NY 13850 with a service at 11 a.m. and luncheon to follow.
